This is a simple database that I have written because I want to be able to view my web site usage in various graphs to see trends and responses to any changes I make to the site.  The following gif files are screen shots of the various graphs that I use.

You can use it free of charge but it will only extract data that is 120 days old.  If you want to extract current data you must register the software.  It is for Win 95/98 users but others (NT) can try it if they want.  Rather than reproducing the read me file you can download it and read at your leisure.

Download Instructions. The Demo comes without the MS Access run time files. If you have Access 97 and graph 97 then you do not need the run time files.  If you do not have these then you need the run time files. These are available in the 11 disk setup files. This includes set-up files, uninstall routine and MS Access 97 and graph 97 run time files.

Technical Support. Once you have downloaded the relevant files and setup the program, if you have any problems you can report any bugs from the bug report .

Error message:  "The Microsoft jet database engine cannot find the input table or query 'bwusage#txt'.  Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly.  3078"	You must put your copy of bwusage.txt (from your Demon web site) in your "C:\Program Files\Webstat\" folder.  The software will not work from any other folder (the text ISAM will not refresh).
Error message for every line in the bwusage.txt file that has only one /	frontend.mde (1.96MB) Version 1.0.2
Error for Jan (15 - 19) 1999.  Demon changed the format of the file for these days and then changed it back to the original (don't ask me why).	frontend.zip (1.91MB) Version 1.0.3
Demon decided to change the spelling of 'totalling' to 'totaling' which makes my original program fall over.  This is the fix.	frontend.zip (1.98MB) Version 1.0.3
Demon has changed the file format for 'bwusage.txt' so the database now sees the whole file as a single record.	This is being monitored to find out if it is going to be a permanent change. The initial solution (which is not very elegant) is to run the 'bwusage.txt' through a word processor and save with line breaks. Check the file in notepad and ensure that there are no blank lines at the end.

MS Access 2000	This application requires MS Access 97 or it's run time files. It can not be run by MS Access 2000 and the user can not convert this to MS Access 2000, however it will install and run on a system that has MS Access 2000 installed without causing any damage to MS Access 2000 or this application. To do this you need to download the full installation including the MS Access 97 run time files. You should select the typical install option which will ensure that the run time files are installed. Selecting minimum will not install the run time files and when you try to run the application MS Access 2000 will start. This will result in an error message.

The Future. The following table shows the possible changes that will be made in future versions of the software. These are enhancements to the frontend and where necessary the data as well. Some are my own ideas and some are from customers who have identified additional requirements. You can add to this list via the wish list form.
