This is a program that I have written because I like to change my wall paper on a regular basis but can't be bothered to do it manually. My first point of call was shareware (and there is a lot of it about) but none of it did exactly what I wanted in the way that I wanted so this program is the result.
It
supports the following file formats: bitmap (.bmp) files, icon (.ico)
files, run-length encoded (.rle) files, metafile (.wmf) files, enhanced metafiles
(.emf), GIF files, and JPEG (.jpg) files.
You can try it free of charge. It is for Win 95/98/2000 and NT4. Rather than reproducing the read me file you can download it and read at your leisure.

Download Instructions. The wallpaper.zip file contains wallpaper.exe and a copy of the readme.txt file. The wallpaper.exe file should run on it's own if you have VB6 or it's run time files. If you don't, you will need the run time files available from simtel and their mirrors.
