Features:
Once the data is collected it can be viewed in summary format or exported to MS Word for further formatting. Reports can be produced for current projects or closed projects over a user selectable time period, monthly or period of days. This is achieved from the summary screen shown below:
The admin screen provides administration functions for the user such as; creating new projects, changing a projects status from current to old, selecting the default project, setting the reminder time period, switching the reminder on/off.
Raw data is available for viewing. This shows the base content as recorded in the database. Each record can be manually edited or a new record can be manually created. The screen is titled 'Time':
MS Project integration is provided to reduce effort and duplication of work. Automatic Time Accounting is not a project management database but the data that it captures is directly related to project management and can be used to track a projects real progress. Within MS Project, the real progress can be compared against the predicted progress. It can also be used to improve the planning process by provided accurate historical data from which more accurate predictions can be made. MS Project integration functions include:

The freeware version is not registered but can be registered easily by purchasing
a license. Hyperlinks to the web site for updates or email for contact with
the author are available.

| Permissions problems with Access 2000. | Timer is a secure Access 97 database hence
the permissions problems if you try to open directly from Access 2000

but if 97 is the there first it seems to go OK.
Timer will not be converted to 2000 as the work is not cost effective at this stage. |
