Service. This service provides similar functionality to the MS Access database HTML Form Processing, however the primary difference is that this is all performed online. Instead of having your HTML form processed by a CGI script and sent to your email address, this service offers an Active Server Page (ASP) script that extracts the data from your form and stores it in an online MS Access database. The script can send an email to you or to the person who completed the form or for that matter to anyone else or any combination of these. The script can also perform validation or data processing. As the database is online, any data submitted by this process becomes instantly available for presentation by other scripts or HTML pages.

Features. Uniquely, this service offers specialised processing that is tailored to your requirement's. The core script has been written providing:

• Data extraction.
• Email to 1 or more fixed addresses and addresses from the form.
• Data processing updating an online database.
• Individual responses based on the data content.

Your Hosting. From this core customisation is provided for each customer. Basic work requires less than 1 hour to perform the necessary modifications. This is then tested by the customer to ensure that what is required is actually going to be delivered and finally after payment has been made the script, HTML files and MS Access mdb data file is sent to the customer. The exact cost for each customisation does depend on what is required but the above would cost $90. You would need access to an ASP server that can host databases (DSN is not required) and has ASPMail.

Our Hosting. Alternatively, the above can be developed and hosted by Educe. Hosting fees are $10 per month for the script(s) and database up to 1MB (multiple forms are included in the same hosting fee but development of these forms is on an individual basis). The first month is free after the development fee (as above) has been paid. HTML files should be hosted on your own site. A 1MB database file can store multiple tables so that 1 file can be used by more than 1 form. For example, this site uses a single file for all data collected by the various surveys and forms. As space is at a premium it is suggested that the data is stored locally on a quarterly or even monthly basis if your data requirement's are excessive. As an option, additional 1MB allocations can be hosted for $3 per month. Fees are payable in advance with discounts of 5% and 10 % for 6 and 12 month advance payments respectively.

Ordering. If you choose to use any of these services, send an email with the details of your requirement's. Include a URL to the form that you wish to have data submitted from. A quote will be sent by return email and once agreement has been achieved the demonstration will be developed. After final agreement based on the demonstration and once payment has been received either the service will go live or the files will be sent by email depending on which service you chose.
